Photography

We are visual creatures.  As the speed of light is the fastest measurement to man, it's no surpise that visual elements have the biggest impact on us - we can process more, faster of that which is visually presented.  It is no surpise as to why video is growing so rapidly.  But video is a more involved and costly endeavor - at 24 frames per second, that a great number of pictures to manage.  Great photography - a snapshot of a compelling moment can have more impact than the same capture in video in that it can suggest the more important moment.  The viewer can fill in the before and after with a bit of their interpretation.  A single, great image can give you the most bang for the buck.  Tie that image with a well crafted headline and you can tell your story very powerfully at a very effective cost.
