Salesforce.com Lead Management System

Orbis is installing a new lead management system for Federal Signal who has recently purchased the Salesforce.com (SF) lead management package. We are utilizing the SF .Net web services API and will be using an AJAX integration from within their backend ERP system which is currently housed within AdvancedWare. SalesForce.com is also linked with ExactTarget which Federal Signal plans on leveraging.
It's important to note how SF is positioning themselves. Emails welcoming new users start with:
"Welcome to salesforce.com!
Salesforce.com is the global leader in Cloud Computing. We offer the award-winning family of CRM applications..."
While cloud computing is embraced by Orbis, it's interesting that SF now leads with that particularly broad statement and then second with what we've know them for: "CRM" (Customer Relationship Management).
