A new era of storytelling by the masses has begun.

The Internet has changed everything. No longer is everyone tuned to the celebrities of radio, television and movies, but are themselves creating followers of their ideas and stories.

The majority of us communicated by phone, in person or with brochures or flyers. Now we can do this with video, animations, blogs, text messages - instantly and to just about anywhere in the world. With all this power comes the necessity "to grow [these] digital interactions into valuable, meaningful relationships that break through the clutter"1.

  • What's Your Story?

    • Talk with a seasoned professional in any area of expertise, someone who's been at it for 20 - 30 years and you're going to get some great stories. The story of that story, is that the business of something evolves over the course of many years.
  • How You Say It

    • Once you have a great story, how do you visualize it? Starting with the simplest but most powerful, things like tag lines, the logo, colors - the branding, provide the foundation of your story - they imbue the essence, set the stage for everything that's developed.
    • From there, design, information organization, copy and images are developed around the core ideas. What's different today is that the consumption of information is very interactive and non linear. A message can completely change, reorganize based on a cue, a thought pattern of the visitor. This is where new media experts are worth their salt. It's the traditional media but structured in a way that can be reorganized, delivering the same message in a more powerful way because it has incorporated the preferences of the recipient.
  • How You Deliver It

    • With the web scarcely older than 15 years, the next big evolution is how people connect and share information or point others to information.
    • The tradition has been to spend vasts amount of time to produce and then distribute works of expression. Today, that's changing to executions delivered peice-meal over time, with things like a story arch grounding the flow.
