This is the first and most important step in the whole video editing process — the editing of the words and sound. It’s not about the video.

You edit the video by editing the transcript. You’ll edit out redundant and filler words. You listen for smooth, natural audio. If a cut it audiably sharp, work the manual wave editing to get it as smooth as possible. If it’s too harsh, don’t use it.

Make sure their voice is strong, front and center. The audio compression option is key to helping that be the best it can.
