Continuous improvement is better than delayed perfection
Mark Twain is attributed with this quote and it’s often cited as a mantra for the manufacturing process. It’s also a good mantra for content production.
One of the biggest mistakes I see in both myself and my clients is continuously tweaking and not shipping content. If you look at any successful social media influencer what you’ll find is that they continuously ship.
The simple truth is the more you put out there, the more you are seen and the more people you will connect with. You should never publish to publish but you should not let the goal of perfection stop you from putting out a message you know is important.
Note what you don’t like about a produced piece of content and improve the next output. Or, update the content in the future.
