The #1 thing a company can do for their marketing
Today I want to demonstrate the number one thing you can do for your marketing. It’s the most accessible tool small businesses have had in the history of marketing and now with AI tools, it is rapidly going from one of the most expensive to a fraction of what it has cost.
I’ll also show you how you can run your website through AI to see what you truly look like from the outside world, along with caparisons to your competitors. What used to take hours now takes seconds with these tools.
As if YouTube was listening to last week’s Bootcamp, they’ve come out with a new video creation tool to compete with TikTok’s video editing tools. We’re looking at that today.
Open AI announced Dall·e 3 and promises competition to the popular MidJourney text to image but takes things much further by adding the ability to provide photos of things you can ask it how to repair — for example.
Google Bard now allows you to connect your Google Drive and Gmail account to it’s Chatbot and analyze that content — I’ll show you how well that works.

DALL·E 3

DALL-E 3 is the latest version of OpenAI’s AI image-synthesis model that creates images from text descriptions. It has the following features:
It is fully integrated with ChatGPT, a powerful chatbot that can generate natural and engaging text responses. This allows DALL-E 3 to use ChatGPT’s language understanding and generation capabilities to create more complex and coherent images based on the text prompts.
It can handle in-image text generation, such as labels and signs, which was challenging for previous models. This means that DALL-E 3 can create images that contain readable and relevant text within them, such as a poster or a billboard.
It can regenerate any rectangular region of an existing image that extends to the bottom-right corner, in a way that is consistent with the text prompt. This means that DALL-E 3 can modify or enhance parts of an image without affecting the rest of it.
It can create realistic and detailed images with 4x greater resolution than DALL-E 2. This means that DALL-E 3 can produce sharper and clearer images that capture the nuances and subtleties of the text prompts.
DALL-E 3 is currently in research preview and will be available to ChatGPT Plus and Enterprise customers in early October. You can learn more about DALL-E 3 from these sources: Ars Technica, OpenAI, Wired, and Dataconomy.
You can now talk with ChatGPT and it sounds like a Human
Here is a summary of the key points in the article:
- OpenAI has added voice and image recognition capabilities to ChatGPT, allowing it to speak responses out loud and understand photos.
- The new voices sound very natural and human-like. There are 5 voice options generated from samples by voice actors.
- You can now upload or snap a photo in the app, circle areas of interest, and ask ChatGPT questions about it. It provided some helpful responses but struggled with games/puzzles.
- The voice feature makes ChatGPT more conversational and interactive, though response time can be slow. The image feature gives it "eyes" to see and understand photos.
- These new capabilities further blur the lines between chatbots and humans. But ChatGPT still lacks full context/depth and can make mistakes, so judgment is needed.
- The features will be rolled out over the next few weeks to paying ChatGPT Plus subscribers for $20/month.
- As AI assistants become more advanced, concerns remain about cloning voices and potential misuse. But the technology also has many potential benefits.

The most important thing you can do for your company
Short Videos
Mobile consumption - Video viewing on mobile devices now accounts for over 50% of all online video watching. And people primarily hold their phones vertically. Vertical video fills the phone screen better and creates a more immersive experience.
Vertical videos are more immersive and appealing, as they take up the full screen of the phone and eliminate distractions. They also have higher completion and visibility rates than horizontal videos
Attention spans - People have shorter attention spans these days. Vertical videos are typically under 60 seconds long, which caters well to modern viewing habits. Longer videos see higher drop-off rates.
Short-form video has the highest ROI and is the best format for lead generation and engagement
Short-form content can be uploaded more frequently than long-form content, helping businesses maintain a consistent presence on social media platforms
Short Vertical Videos are designed to Loop — allowing you to pack more information into a short video with the idea that successive loops will yield more information
Why Video?
Video combines visual and auditory stimuli, which can capture the viewer’s interest and keep them hooked until the end. Video also tells a story, which appeals to our natural curiosity and empathy. According to Doobert LIVE, 50% of our brains are involved in processing visual information and 70% of our sensory receptors are in our eyes
Video has it all. Video can incorporate audio, visual, text, and other elements, giving it the flexibility to convey any message in any style. Video can also create different atmospheres and emotions, depending on the choice of music, voiceover, images, and graphics. TechSmith states that video is ideal to use any time there are many steps, or the process involves movement
