I’ve been waiting months for my DALL-E-2 invitation and it finally came today!

If you’ve not heard, DALL-E is an AI system that generates images from a description in natural language.

These are simply incredible

But my results — not so much

I decided to describe my exact moment

“A shaved cat sitting on the arm of a chair watching me”

Not bad

I added “digital art”

Again, not bad

Then I ask my daughter for ideas and she says 

“have you heard of MidJourney” - an AI image generator she saw

I create an account — it’s not as easy as dall-e — it’s using discord

I try the same prompts

Oh man — this is insane
